You can’t be an enthusiast of the vast night sky and not like The Little Prince to some degree. So when news of an aptly-themed projector was launched, you can bet that I immediately jumped at the opportunity to get started on my review.

Reasonably-priced and with the promise of long battery life, I certainly am not going to miss out on the Lumitusi Twilight Constellation Galaxy Round Projector. I’ve filed this as the top 5 of the best baby star projectors in the market. Read more about this night projector in the sections below.

Scope of delivery

Fit snugly inside its original and unique packaging, the Lumitusi Twilight Constellation Galaxy Round Projector – at the get-go – looks every part as the perfect baby shower gift. Inside is the unit itself, uncomplicated and straightforward.

No power supplies nor batteries to operate the device are included. However, all you need is 3 AA batteries to enjoy this fun new toy.

With barely anything but the device and a manual on hand, you will need to prepare 3 AA batteries to operate this starry sky projector. Insert these batteries into the compartment found at the bottom of the projector.

A single load of these 3 AAA batteries promises more than 60 nights (at 45 minutes per night) of a calm and starry sanctuary for you and/or the kids. The number of nights, of course, might change with the length of time that you have the projector turned on at night.

One of the first things that you need to know about the Lumitusi Twilight Constellation Galaxy Round Projector is that it is a touch-activated device. Changing the modes of the projector is as simple as tapping on the touch-activated region on the shell of the device.

You can choose to activate the orange light, a blue projection, a green one by touching on the shell of your projector. You can also touch it for a fourth time to trigger the auto-color changing mode. The same touch activation applies when you want to turn off the night light.

Typically, the projector turns off automatically after 45 minutes of use. This auto-off feature keeps you from having to rouse at night just to turn the device off.

The Lumitusi Twilight Constellation Galaxy Round Projector has been designed specifically for children. This means that it, despite its touch activation feature, is protected by a specific type of lock that can keep your kids from accessing the batteries.

Quality and safety

BPA free, latex-free, phthalate-free, and lead-free — the Lumitusi Twilight Constellation Galaxy Round Projector has been designed for the utmost safety of kids. On top of this, its plastic material has been made to withstand high impact to ensure that your kids can enjoy this night lamp for years to come.

If you’re worried about your kids quickly accessing the batteries too, don’t worry. There is a specific type lock in place that prevents them from accessing the battery compartment when they’re tinkering with the device.

Overall, the device itself is easy to clean, fun, and safe. The projection area, however, is a bit too small for some.

Service / Support

This The Little Prince-themed star projector sold on the Lumitusi store on Amazon might just be for you. Do keep in mind that the seller does not disclose its warranty details, though.

You can, of course, get in touch with them through their Amazon page. As far as I’ve observed, they seem to be quite responsive to queries on their page. If you have already purchased the product and need a replacement/refund, I believe that the legally stipulated 14-day right of return may cover you.

Price Performance

One of the significant advantages that come with the Lumitusi Twilight Constellation Galaxy Round Projector is that it is very affordable. At a low price and manufactured at such an impressive quality, I can confidently say that this is easily a worthy purchase. It has a good performance to price ratio, for me. The projection area may not be much, but it does serve its purpose as a night light for kids.

On the other hand, for those wanting a larger projection area, this may not be the best choice for you.

  • many various projections
  • very low price
  • long battery life
  • simple operatability
  • easy to clean

  • effects not too high quality
  • too small projection area
  • partially low service life

Conclosure – Lumitusi Twilight Constellation Galaxy Round Projector

When it comes to price and simplicity, the Lumitusi Twilight Constellation Galaxy Round Projector easily takes the cake among baby star projectors in the market. It is intuitive, durable, and boasts of long battery life. Not to mention, it’s easy to clean and has a touch-sensitive feature too.

If you want a simple night light and are a fan of The Little Prince, then, by all means, click on that “Add to Cart” button now. If, however, the projection area is essential to you, then you might want to look elsewhere for a constellation projector.

This device is aptly filed under “Best Baby Star Projector” and in that regard, it has earned its way on the top 5. I think that the price alone and the cute and sturdy packaging that it comes with makes more than enough of a compelling argument for itself.
